Behavior Consultation

During the initial consultation I will assess your dog’s behavior. I will create a treatment plan which will include both acute and long term strategies teaching you how to manage and/or modify your dog’s behavior through proper reward-based training. Training focuses on clarity, consistency, and nurturing with an emphasis on meaningful exercise and a biologically appropriate diet .

This is a process not an event.

This is a marathon not a sprint.

Your dog’s success requires patience. My most valuable lessons have come from my very own pets. I have rescued numerous cats and dogs for over 20 years. Aasia, in the picture below, was raised to be a bait dog. When I adopted her she had a bevy of behavior issues. She was terrified of being both on a leash and going outside. It took me 2 years to get her outside walking on a leash. This picture is a testimonial to how dog’s can learn to trust but it’s on their schedule, not ours.

You will receive:

• Initial home visit

• a summary report of recommendations discussed

• follow-up to assess progress

Behavior Consultation Fee: $250.

Follow Up Training Visits: $100.
